Applications for new postgraduate members should be made using the
Postgraduate Membership Application Form. Application forms should be
sent to the EPS Administrator by email (preferred) at email@example.com.
The completed documents can also be sent by post.
Postgraduate Membership is required in order to apply for Grindley Grants and EPS Study Visit Grants.
Postgraduate members are not eligible to apply for the Small Grant scheme until they become ordinary members of the Society.
Postgraduate Membership will cost £6 per year, to be paid following approval of membership. Fees are due each September to align with the academic calendar.
Upon receipt of this subscription, new Postgraduate Members can request access (by
email to firstname.lastname@example.org) to the Member’s Area of the EPS website which
includes free access to Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology (QJEP) articles.
Applications for Postgraduate Membership have no fixed deadline, but will be considered on a rolling basis. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application within one month of submitting the completed form, once eligibility checks have been completed by the EPS administrator.
Applicants must be nominated by one current ordinary EPS member (please see below for advice for help identifying members if needed).

Once the applications are received, the EPS administrator will scrutinise applications to ensure all eligibility criteria are met and then pass applications to the Hon. Secretary to confirm applicants for postgraduate membership.
Any applicant not selected as eligible will be informed and advised whether he / she may
be proposed for membership in the future and, if so, subject to what conditions.
Identifying EPS members for nomination
Applicants who meet all the eligibility criteria for postgraduate membership, but do not
have a sponsor in the Society, are invited to contact the EPS Administrator, at email@example.com, for help identifying EPS members in their home institution,
or a member of the committee, who can provide a nomination.
