Applications for new postgraduate members should be made using the Postgraduate Membership Application Form. Application forms should be sent to the EPS Administrator by email (preferred) at expsychsoc@kent.ac.uk. The completed documents can also be sent by post.
Postgraduate Membership is required in order to apply for Grindley Grants and EPS Study Visit Grants.
Postgraduate members are not eligible to apply for the Small Grant scheme until they become ordinary members of the Society.
EPS Postgraduate Members are required to have an Ordinary Member sponsor their submission to the scientific meeting presentation portals.
Postgraduate Membership will cost £12 per year, to be paid following approval of membership. Fees are due each September to align with the academic calendar. Upon receipt of this subscription, new Postgraduate Members can request access (by email to expsychsoc@kent.ac.uk) to the Member’s Area of the EPS website which includes free access to Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology (QJEP) articles.
Applications for Postgraduate Membership have no fixed deadline, but will be considered on a rolling basis. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application within one month of submitting the completed form, once eligibility checks have been completed by the EPS administrator.

Subscription Fee Waivers for Special Circumstances
In line with best practice, the EPS can offer subscription fee waivers for special circumstances to postgraduate members of the Society.
The one-year waiver applies to long-term parental leave, long-term sick leave, carers leave or a career break of one year or more.
You retain all your benefits of membership during this period and are able to apply for EPS funding (if eligible).
